I started this website in Dutch, which is my native language. That means that I always write in Dutch first and when I have some spare time I translate things in English for people that don't understand Dutch. This typically means that the English version will most likely be a little behind or not completely translated yet.
I am regularly asked for advice by different people when they are working on a hobby IT project. I have therefore decided to start a hobby project myself, namely this site where I will discuss a number of IT hobby projects. With today's fast internet connections it is perfectly possible to run a web server at home and host your own site(s) there. First an explanation of how I have tackled it myself to set up this web server at home, but the intention is that other hobby projects are also covered.
